Tristan Wilds is now considered a young hot Hollywood celebrity on the rise. So who is Tristan Wilds and why should we be watching him? Some of you may remember him for his portrayal of Michael Lee on HBO’s hit series “The Wire.” He played a young boy from the streets of Baltimore taking care of his younger brother any way he knew how because of his mother’s drug addiction. His break out performance on “The Wire” put him on the map, the celebrity map that is. And because of his brilliant performance on “The Wire” his celebrity status began to rise.
Tristan Wilds hails from Staten Island, New York and he was first seen in the mini-series Miracle's Boys on The N. Since the series finale of “The Wire” Tristan has worked with Phylicia Rashad, appeared in Jay Z’s video “Roc Boys” and landed him the role of Dixon Wilson on the TV series 90210.
You will be able to see Tristan Wilds in theatres October 17, 2008 playing the role of Zachary Taylor in “The Secret Life of Bees.”
So if there are any hot young celebrities out there to watch I would have to say it should be Tristan Wilds. I’m telling you his star is just going to keep getting brighter and brighter.
