Project Runway Wednesday July 30th, 2008

This week’s episode of Project Runway started out with the designers getting a ride on City Sights NY one of New York’s tour buses.

The designers briefly toured New York from the viewpoint of hundreds of thousands of tourists that visit each year.
The challenge was to create a look for a night out on the town inspired by New York. The designers were given a camera and 1 hour to take pictures of places, people or things that inspired them.

The tour bus made four stops: Columbus Circle, Times Square, New York Public Library and Greenwich Village.

Stella if you haven’t figured out by now loves leather.

Tonight’s winning design on Project Runway was Kenley’s.

Heidi had to say Auf Wiedersehen to Emily.

Tim Gunn warned Emily about the direction her design was taking, but she didn’t heed his advice. But she defended her dress to the very end. End of the runway that is.

The top two designs for me this week were Terry’s and Leanne’s.

Congratulations to the Next Food Network Star!

A sincere congratulation goes out to Aaron McCargo Jr. on winning the title of the Next Food Network Star. As I watched the series progress I was always in Aaron’s corner.

What Aaron lacked in television presence he made up for in the wonderful and tasty dishes he prepared throughout the series. That was the main reason he was able to hang on as long as he did.

We watched as he struggled to become better week after week. I hid my face under my cover as he bombed in front of the Las Vegas crowd and cheered as he made a kick ass commercial for the judges to review.

This Next Food Network Star finally came into his own as we watched the episode featuring Aaron McCargo Jr. in Big Daddy’s Kitchen.

I believe the judges made the best decision and I look forward to watching The Food Network’s new show featuring Aaron McCargo Jr.

A Tyler Perry Movie – The Family that Preys

Tyler Perry is at it again, The Family That Preys is set to hit theatres September 12, 2008. While watching the preview for this movie, I could see the growth and development from Tyler’s first movie. I’m anxious and excited to see it in theatres opening weekend. With such wonderful actresses as Alfre Woodard, Kathy Bates and Sanaa Lathan how could he go wrong?

You have to admit Tyler Perry is definitely doing his thing. Tyler consistently puts out works in film, television and theatres. Plus he’s a song writer.
Check out the trailer for The Family That Preys here.

To Keyword or Not To Keyword?

“To keyword or not to keyword,” Have you thought about this question?

Of course you’ve thought about this question.

Any novice has and will explore articles that offer tips for bloggers. And you will find that every other article you’ve read has referred to the importance of using keywords.

So, here I am adding my very own two cents to the pot.

First, stop screaming at the newbie’s who don’t even know what a keyword is let alone its significance

You have to admit some articles that explain how to use keywords speak to you as if you are already ‘blog savvy.’

When I started blogging I’d seen references here and there about keywords. But I didn’t put two and two together right away.

I figured it was something I’d get around to eventually. So I made a note to research it at another time. All I wanted to do was writing. So that’s what I began to do.

Through further exploration and research I found that blogging could also be profitable. I found that I could actually make additional income from blogging.

How cool is that?

Unfortunately, it’s not one of those situations where if you write—they will come. You have to get people to come. There are several avenues that you can explore for this purpose. But the one avenue that kept popping up was keywords.

So I took out that sticky note that read, “research keywords” and got to work.

Keywords help you get found in google. And we know how important it is for google to find us. It also helps google adsense place the appropriate ads on your blog.

Are keywords certain words that you can only use?

The answer is, “No.”

It’s any word or phrase that you frequently use throughout your article. Adding your keyword in your title is even better. Actually, it’s key.

Yes, some keywords are more popular than others as well as more profitable. But that’s covered in “Intermittent Key wording.”

The goal is to actually put out good articles with great content while trying not to be obnoxious with your use of keywords.

So the question remains, “To keyword or not to keyword?”

Of course!

Whether you want to blog for money or blog to be heard you still have to get traffic to your website. Keywords will help you get there.

You’re on the right track if you’ve figured out what are the keywords in this article?

What I Love About Runs House

While watching the season premiere of Run’s House it occurred to me that I really like this family.

No one can tell a family the way they should love one another. But we can surely tell who’s doing it the right way.

Run’s House in my opinion is miles above any other family reality show that’s on the air right now.

Watch as they welcome their new addition to the family, Miley Justine Simmons. It airs Wednesday nights at 10pm on MTV. For more information about this series check this out.
